About Me
Well, you clicked here to find out more about me, and who am I to deny
you this knowledge? My name is Diane and I am a barbershop groupie (or a Bass groupie depending on who you ask).
I was hooked when my ex-husband (a Bass) took me to my first district convention as our first date,
the 1995 CSD Fall District contest. The CSD champion was Freefall (not the college guys) and I remember wanting to
stay up all night because people were still singing, so not much has changed since then. =)
Some of my hobbies include watching the 2005 World Series Champion Chicago
White Sox; hanging out with my friends; making quartet webpages (see the right column under
"My Sites"); reading fictional courtroom dramas; collecting teddy bears and
anything related to Jiminy Cricket; listening to music, such as Old School, Cheers!,
Billy Joel, Huey
Lewis, and Frank
Sinatra; watching Scooby Doo (William Hanna was a barbershopper),
and 2 of the greatest shows to grace television with their presence: CSI, and Law & Order.
